Spider Bytez is a mutant character appearing in the 2012 animated series of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. He is a mutated spider with a human-like physique, possessing enhanced strength, agility, and the ability to spin webs.

Initially, Spider Bytez was a human scientist, Dr. Tyler Rockwell, working alongside April O'Neil's father. He was conducting research on mutagen when he was accidentally exposed, transforming him into the spider-like mutant.

Driven by a thirst for knowledge and a desire to perfect the mutagen, Spider Bytez often clashed with the Ninja Turtles. While not inherently evil, his scientific pursuits sometimes led him down morally questionable paths, making him a recurring antagonist throughout the series.

Despite his antagonistic role, moments of Dr. Rockwell's humanity shine through. He sometimes displays a sense of regret for his actions and acknowledges the damage he causes in pursuit of his goals.
